Our Story
Amber Lake Farm is a regenerative farm focusing on soil regeneration, increasing biodiversity and enhancing the ecosystem through sustainable agriculture techniques.
I started with a small garden four years ago, expanding each year, and decided to start selling the extra fruits, vegetables and herbs produced. Offerings are seasonal and vary day-to-day depending on harvests.
Plants are grown from heirloom seeds harvested the previous year. The soil is not tilled and amended naturally with manure, straw and compost.
Since starting, lots of eastern fence lizards, frogs and skinks have moved in and help with pest control along with certain plants like marigolds and lavender. No pesticides, herbicides or chemicals are used.
